This is a directed-study style course, open to all students in grades 9-12 who are enrolled in Concert Choir or Chamber Singers and wish to audition for the District I Music Festival and/or All-State Music Festival. The class will meet during the students' lunch blocks on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. This is a lab where students will receive instruction on all aspects of the vocal music audition. The students will sing the audition pieces and receive criticism and instruction from the instructor and the other students, as well as listen critically while the other students perform in order to provide their own input toward the improvement of each student's performance.
